well I think the proper rankings are always more interesting... :)

i think it can depend - obviously by the end of the year the race is quite exciting, but the race can also give you an indication of who is having a good year so far. But obviously the rankings are more interesting in terms of who is number 1 and the fact that they're entry rankings and the like.
