Just to let you guys know that our women are moving onwards and upwards:

- Following her win at 25K event in Jersey, Elena Baltacha has just won a 75K event in Belgium, beating Iveta Benesova in the final. This will move Bally back into the top 150.

- Anne Keothavong made the final of 50K event in Greece. Mel South and Naomi Cavaday made QF of the same event.

In the past our girls have failed to qualify for these events, or have chosen to play it safe and enter lower level events at home. There are now 5 women in the top 200, and as on monday there should be at least 3 in the top 150. Take away Andy Murray and it's looking a lot shabbier on the mens side at the moment in singles.
