Title: Year ending number 1?
Description: Who will finish the year at number 1?

Well, Nadal is closer, but Djokovic looks to have the ability to pick up more points more often throughout the year (Nadal relies heavily on April-June). There's a possibility that the number 1 position could be held by all 3 of the above at various stages of the year.

Despite the slump and my prediction he will win only 1 slam this year, my vote goes to Roger.

I would like to say me but I don't think that is very likely. I won't write Roger off just yet - he went through a similarly dodgy patch this time last year, then was so dominant for the rest of the year.

I reckon if Federer goes out early in one of the slams he holds then Djokovic could do it.
So many variables, but even if Roger has a slightly slimmer year in titles gained,he should hang on to it.

If Djokovic became No.1 it really would signify the death of tennis ;)

?

I'm not sure I understand the joke.

As for the question, my vote naturally goes to Fed - but there is a good chance that Nadal (if he can repeat his clay-court results and then improve in the second half of the year) or Djokovic (if he improves his clay-court results and end-of-year form) can do it, particularly if Roger loses early in one of the remaining slams.

Overall, if Fed finds his form soon, he will keep it I believe. Otherwise, both Nadal and Djokovic should have a really good chance to be #1 at the end of the year - and both of them would be very deserving #1s as well! :ok:

Is this a joke? Djoko is already a serious canditate to become soon the N#1. I do not expect this year , but I definitely believe this is possible next year..

Yeah but he still had a GS under his belt. This year he has done nothing of any great note so his confidence is far lower than last year

I expect Rafa to have a better second half of the year( ie a US Open final or title) and will take over.

I think he has an outside chance this year, and it certainly would not mark the death of tennis. :ok:

Federer, unless he winds up ill again or seriously injured. I hope it won't be on eof the other two.

My vote goes to the obvious.I just think he has way more to offer this year.Remember, form is temporary, but having said that it can pick up at any stage. He is a champion and I believe he will deliver. :ok:
