I do think it's rather pointless because everyone just votes for the country next to them so it basically becomes a contest of which country is the most landlocked but I suppose it's a good programme if you want to get snobby about the TV - which I do!

Eurovision is harmless fun - if you are going to get serious and stroppy about it - its really not worth it and should just be avoided... or you can have all your mates round for a bbq and get pissed session and enjoy it :D

I just watched that, I thought Andy and Michelle were by far the best acts, but males never do well and Andy is just too cool for Eurovision. Thign is as sonn as I saw him I KNEw the public woudl go for him cos they love him. I'm pleased for him but as you say his career might be over. I found Michelle a bit frantic, and they tried to dance liek Tinma Turner in Proud MAry :lol: It might have worked, but doesn't matter cos we won't win end of.

I think the best chances were that Simona off Sound fo Music show, very Eurovision, but I had to hope nto cos we can't have a Romanian representign us and using it as a 'cheat'. I expected the public to vote for Andy actaully, not sure why. I think the public just vote for their favourite singer and song. You could see Andy was genuinely pleased to win so i was pleased. but then again maybe ti won't help him as you say. :(
