Ana won 6-3, 6-1 but apparently suffered a really nasty ankle injury two points from victory. Looks like she'll be pulling out now. :moody:

liam_valid - February 20, 2008 05:33 PM (GMT)
Oh well, saves her getting a drubbing in the semis i suppose :runs:

Was a very strange match.. was watching bits of it on and off but Cib was just getting everything back that Venus through at her, she just kept getting everything back and wasn't hitting the net or hitting any ball out. Venus was down 3-6, 1-5 at one point :o

It was extremely windy which seemed to have a massive effect on Venus :(

dl04 - February 21, 2008 04:34 PM (GMT)
  :( :(

Crappy conditions but that's no excuse. Cbulkova played a brilliant match by the sound of things. I came in at 6-3 5-3 40-0, so i imagined the outcome  roflmao

Move on to the next tourny now Vee, and the awfful Doha weather

Very well played Cibulkova though. Superb run so far :ok:
