Hmmm.. I think these rankings are wrong folks.
Copied and paste from Eurosport but I'm sure they haven't updated as hasn't Ana gone into the 2nd spot?
I will update them soon..

Eurosport can take weeks to update.... as I found out when I was doing them! I used to copy and paste the previous weeks list, then edit it according to the rankings on the main wta site. :ok:

As far as the top 10 is concerned, Ivanovic is up from 3rd to 2nd and Sharapova still 5th. Venus up to 6th, Serena down to 10th and despite losing in R1, Bartoli is up to 9th.

Not sure how the ranking system works-I think it's up there with the American Football (university level) rankings on the wtf??? scale :D . Players get points by playing in/winning tournaments. Do they lose points if they lose the tournament? Does playing in the Fed Cup/Davis Cup count toward the rankings?

You must like the look of those rankings QJ - Henin miles clear and Ana a fair way clear in second place now. :blink: She hasn't got many points to defend until Berlin, so has the chance to cement her ranking somewhat... I'd swap all that for her to stop choking in Slam finals though. :(
