It seems a witch hunt for this woman at the moment from the medai, much like with Britney in the US (although not sure whether Brit is looking for it) but it does seem like Amy is pressing the self destruct button.

The woman's husband (for better or worse) is in jail on perjury charges, she's hounded by the papparazzi no matter what she does, her mother chooses to communicate with her via a very public letter in the News of the World. She's obviously going to be a mess and it's a shame that the press can't just leave her alone to deal with it :shrug:

Oh I know! I don't condone what she does, but I think there is some kind of unneccessary witch hunt going on. I wonder why? Is it because she is the most talented singer we have had in this country for decades? Is it because she is quite down to earth and ordinary unlike your American R&B singers? She certainyl doesn't tow th elien and behave like manafactured singers and bands - is that why? And of course she drinks and does drugs. I think the fact that she is female has a lot to do with it. Maybe her attitude isn't what the press want to see, she may be seen as different and a threat. She certainyl has her own image. I personally like her and her music, but she is a mess and needs to sort it out -but that is up to her and she shoudl eb left alone to get on with it. I reckon all the bad press she has had since day 1 really have contributed to her addiction issues. There is some hypocrisy going on though becuase Kate Moss never got this treatment :rolleyes:
