Just looking at the seedings compared to the rankings and there's no Canas, Haas (didn't know he had withdrawn  ) or Starace (who is suspended for betting on tennis matches)
Also, lots of people outside the seedings who might be dangerous, not least Safin

sweet, Gasquet made top 8 :)

outside of Roger, the men's always seems a crap shoot. The majority of the top 16 could easily find their way into the SF or the Finals and you wouldn't be suprised in one of the #17-34 seeds ended up there too.

Since everyone is going to be talking about Lindsay D on the women's side it looks like I'm going to have to follow the men in this one. :D

I don't think Davydenko will ever win a Grand Slam - he's so one-dimensional, in terms of his play and his personality. Always seems out of his depth whenever he's playing someone in the world's top 10 as well.
Tenez - January 16, 2008 10:21 PM (GMT)
It's a shame some can't appreciate his game though. he is built like a mosquito but he beats everybody but 3 players in the world due to a great talent and beautiful rhythm. I am glad he is up there and deservedly so.
