It'll be interesting to see how well Lindsey does this year, i fear she is yesterdays woman. I know she's won Auckland, but when she's faced with the big guns i have my doubts-and i say that as a fan of hers.

Power tennis never went away Liam, Justine actually out hit Venus and Serena at the US Open for example... :shrug:

But Justine is known for her all court prowess rather than just her power. Besides, how many times in the future will Linds and V&S all win tournies in the same week? :yikes: has it ever even happened before? Let me have my moment before Juju beats them all at AO :lol:
EDIT: i agree with BT too, i dont think Linds has a chance against most of the top ten, but at a time when the ATP is shrouded in controversy, her participation is a positive sign for tennis ~:)

Not sure about that BT... I am a fan of Lindsay but I expected nothing of her comeback last year... just to have lost one match since then (I think) is pretty damn good, not sure how many top tenners she has beat along the way though, I remember she beat an in form Jankovic.
I was gonna say I hope she can do well at the AO but I am a bigger fan of Maria so am gutted now I have just read in this thread they are due to meet in the second round.
I probs have to say I want Maria to win that as I think she will have a better chance of getting further into the tournament, although saying that I guess Lindsay must be fresh at the moment and has nothing to lose.
I'm torn..
