So, what do you all reckon? Big things are expected this year.

As long as he stays injury free I think he will definitely make the top 4-5. Top 3 is tough with Nadal and Fed around, and Djokovic.

4-5 sounds about right esp. the way he's playing at the moment. He's good enough to beat everyone consistently except maybe the top 3 . Id expect him to reach (at least) the semis of most of the major tournaments except on clay .

I also think 4 or 5, providing he doesn't get injured - again. he seems to be having a good start to the season, so hopefully things can only get better! I do think he's going to struggle to get much higher, although it wouldn't surprise me if he managed to beat all of the current top 3 on occasion  Plus he does have this strange advantage that he has no points to defend from the French Open or Wimbledon and barely anything from Monte Carlo, Rome or Hamburg.

I say 4 or 5 largely based on his career arc before his injury. He and Djokovic seemed to be joined at the hip before Murray's injury, and look at what has happened to Novak.
Also when looking at the players above Murray,he has much more potential and substance to his game than some of the others. He also has that ability I feel to pull off the unexpected,an intuitive sense when under pressure that takes over and the right shot seems to appear.
My only doubt is that if he wants to crack it then he still has to go and smack that forehand harder when his feet are inside the baseline. Those are situations when that extra fizz can create openings.
