Glad you're happy, Scotsguy :) I was actually going for France (I lived there for six years decades ago and am very pro-French), but i can't say it's spolt my day. But so daft of Zidanre to butt the italian blike in the chest (but wow, what a blow that was!!), and in his last match, too.

I tipped them from the start, how inspired is that?!? :D

France probably just edged the match itself, but I think Italy deserved to win on the basis of what Zidane did. What a shame for one of the greats to go out in this fashion. :(


As for the penalty shoot-out, well i've got huge respect for every penalty taker there, imagine the pressure! One penalty in 9 missed speaks volumes for those players!
