trisco - December 30, 2007 08:16 PM (GMT)
hey folks,

Decided to start on a new skin as Xmas is over and the new AO is coming up shortly...
I maybe shoulda tested it first as I seem to be having a bit of a design block at the mo,
Was trying to bring it in line with the AO website http://www.australianopen.com/en_AU/index.html
in terms of the colours...

Will have a play around again tomorrow so please bare with us CC'ers. :ok:

Cool, if people are liking it as it is I'll keep it that way, just make a few minor changes. :ok:

It's a hypnotic blue, as blues go it's one of -if not the best, puts me in mind of that film by Derek Jarman, the film wasn't good but the colour is!

Yeah it has warmed on me now. I quite like it.
I also like the Derek Jarman film you are talking about but I can't remember the name...

Must say I was shocked when I logged in cos the snowflakes were missing. They were quite realxing in the end :D

I like the colour but my intial reaction was that my screen is very bright and I got eye strain. Sorry to moan, it looks really nice, but as you know I have light sensitive eyes and get eye strain rather quick. Not sure if it's the white, blue or the contrast that is the problem - but anything you can do to make it easier on my 'old blue eyes' is apprecaited

Did he do one called Blue? I have never seen any off his stuff actually. Is it good? All I know is he came form Northwood, I think he had AIDS, he had work with Ken Russel I think, and I'm sure he had summat to do with the Pet Shop Boys. And the Garden! I must swot up ..
