I seem to recall us having a thread dedicated to favourite adverts once upon a time and so cant resist posting this link to the BBC article on the adverts of this year...

Aww Pebs - not you as well. Lost count of how many people have said that. I had a question in my quiz night a few weeks ago about the guy who played the gorilla. Even most of the teams were sure it was real!!! :doh:

Haha really good link Pebs. I'm surprised they didn't mention that one where all the animals come through the window and tidy everything up but I can;t remember what that is for :shrug:

I like that one! That's cos I love the animals though, we taped that actually :lol: I think it's utterly butterly or some spread? Or is it polish?
I'm crap on ads cos I never remember what they are advertising anyway - I often like an ad but hate the product so ads are wasted on me. There si one i realyl liek but cos I don't knwo what it advertises I am very stuck!

I like this one but mainly cos I enjoy the song she's a Rainbow by the Stones which you hardly ever hear. It's got coloured rabbits and advertises a TV by Sony.

:lol: thanks FW :) I think the advert you mean is for some sort of butter - but I cant stand that one! Not sure why - something about the music I think - and how gormless the woman looks eating her toast...

but it just looks so real! Mr Pebs got quite cross about it - insisting it couldnt be a real gorilla - although he allowed me a compromise of maybe a real one at first and then a man in a suit for the actual drum playing... but he's been suitably smug that I had to admit defeat today and face the fact its not real...
