There HAS to be some truth behind it. People who can see through the gloss of the show have been talking about Rhyd going to stage and ALW for some time now, and personalyl I thought this could pose a problem for X Factor as it is obvious that Cowell saw him as a huge selling artist. In the same way that eh was pushing Leona to win cos of world appeal he was pushing for Rhyd to win, and must have bene worried that if he didn't then ALW would grab him. . Likewise is he won XF then his stage career would have to go on hold. It's a dirty business! Simon must also feel that the XF put the investment in so deserves to get something out, but they don't own him and I really hope that whatever happens is right for Rhydian as I think he is a lovely bloke and a phenomenal talent. It coudl all go so wrong though, if eh doesn't pick what is right for him.
Ironic: ALW rejected him before, now he can't wait to snap him up! :lol:
Dodgy: wonder if they fixed it to try and get someone else to win because face it if Rhyd had won, people liek ALW woudl have bene all over him and he might nto have given full committment to the shitty 1m record deal. The choice fo songs woudl certainly make me think this.
Hmmm, reading that it certainly does look like there is more to the result than meets the eye!

Well I know I am a real cynical conspiracy theorist so I might be getting carried away. But it is odd isn't it? Imagien if Rhyd DID win - then suppose he got offers form ALW and the likes and got a better offer for hsi type of thing and ditched the contract? or simply didn't put in as much effort? Rhyd is very much his own person and I can't see him taking shit and forfeiting opportunties. He probably used X Factor as he was running otu of ideas to get his carer going. And maybe ALW PAID Simon Cowell to have rhyd? Who knows but I don't trust this one bit.

Me neither. I just can't see how Rhyd didn't win unless it was rigged. And those people said they couldn't get through either - bit like the G Gates/Will Young affair. The plot thickens :tsk:
