Very interesting. Thanks for that! :ok:
He said he thinks he has almost another 10 years remaining. :yikes:
I think that may be slightly optimistic though ..

Thanks a lot Tenez..Very interesting.. :P
I like in particular the part in which he is explaining why modern Tennis is played like that, i.e. why serve and volley is no more a valid option at the top level: Too many good returners on the field as well as too few time spend training the volley technique nowadays and this because rallies are taking place from the baselines and it is from there that you have to win the majority of the points you need to win a match.. :yep:
Tennis has changed and there will be no way back..It is clear that n few years, might be, a new generation will quite certainly tried to re-play a more offensive, at the net, Tennis (at that moment players would be get used to the speed and passing shots IMO)..
Still it is just pure nostalgia to pretend that today top generation would play the same way than, let's say, 10 years ago..

Thanks guys. I like the bit where he says he is talented and something like " people see I have more talent than, let say Hewitt" or something along those lines. I can imagine Lexi's face when she hears that! . :P :D
I also quite like when he is not keen of naming the GOAT!

Cheers Tenez :ok: Good stuff.
The "10 years" bit is very interesting. He certainly has a game that isn't too hard on the body. In fact, I'd go as far to say that Agassi's game would be harder on the body than Federer's and look how long he went on for.
Of course if he is to go on ten years it will be interesting to see how his game evolves as tennis inevitibly always does as we have seen. I can't see him staying as dominant as now for much longer, so it will be interesting to see how it all pans out. Even if he is not as dominant as he is now....10 years could still net him 10 more slams :o

Or 30 more slams if he carries on at this current rate! ;)
More seriously, I think he won't last another 9 years on the tour, especially if the tour continues to be more and more physical as he points out hmself. We saw Connors play rather competitively till he was 40, but then 10 years later Agassi had to be coptered to the hospital between his last USO matches for "rehydratation", and in 10 years from now, the tour might be made of 10 Nadals and 20 Ferrer!
I watched recently a bit of the Federer Safin AO semi and I was impressed to see how "lively, jumpy" Federer was compared to nowadays. He seemed quicker than he is now. It might just be an impression but now his moves seem more paused, measured with less explosiveness. I'd like to have your views on this as you can watch some good clips on youtube.
