Wow!
:o
IAll the songs that are there except one I think are ones I thought of using myself! I think I have most of them on my disco albums. So I can't pick one! :D

Dinky Jo - December 11, 2007 09:53 AM (GMT)
La Belle - Lady Marmalade for me! :D Definitely the best version (perhaps not mentioning the Moulin Rouge version would be best  ) and always guaranteed to get me boogeying on the dance floor

:dancer1: :dancer1: :dancer1:

Yes it is real funky sleazy disco and the best version. Gets me boogieing too. :D

Jo - you should put up a disco song just to let us know what you would have picked. :)

It is a disco song. The original certainly moreseo by Mick Jackson (not Michael btw) who wrote it and had a hit in ' 78, he was British. . I prefer that version. I can't find ti though, but i did find Weekend my Mick Jackson - which is a feel good song.

What the Hell is that Static song???? ive only just listened to it and more like death metal than disco :yikes:

liam_valid - December 11, 2007 03:53 PM (GMT)
Even though i cant vote, disco inferno is my fave from that list it has that sound that can sum up disco in just one beat and gets everyone dancing. I also like dancing queen as i have memories of my mum dancing around to it whilst doing the housework when i was a kid

This is tough as there are nto too many votes and the songs are pretty close. Have to say I found it hard to pick, but what I did do was go for one that I think is a real masterpiece and was close to my own choice.

SuperBRAT - December 14, 2007 05:02 PM (GMT)
When does this finish? I just noticed no one seems to have voted for a few days and I don't reckon anyone else will

And when will the comp end? We'll have 4 acts after this right? So I guess 3 more goes? Are you gonna do a final or seni final or whatever where folks pick more than one song? I think last year they did 3 or something.

Well Pebs the vote is now closed so its up to you to pick who goes through to the next round. Its ONE from Static, the trammps or earth wind and fire :)

Pebs - December 17, 2007 04:02 PM (GMT)
oooooo....... this was a toughie to choose between - I loved the Static X song as it is something that I would naturally graviate towards... however, I do feel that Boogie Wonderland was more in the style of disco so I am putting them through!

Congrats to both participants, however, good choices all round :)

Boogie Wonderland is what I voted for :ok: I feel sorry for the Trammps. Great classic. :ok: I don't feel for Static X as it was a rock version of a disco song! Original idea mind :D
