I have voted for the Breeders - Cannonball, the only song of that choices that I own and play, from the Last Splash Album. Cool, edgy choice :bow: remind me of my indie dancing days of the 90s when I was younger, better looking and even more drunk and st*ned than I am now :D Emerging from the club looking a right mess with red eyes afterwards and borken beads form the moshing! And huge Sunday lunches and hair of the dog next day to survive. Whoever picked it, thanks for the memories :D

I had an immense crush on Kim Deal from the Breeders and always danced like an idiot to cannonball whenever it came on at those lovely "indie" discos we went to when I was 17ish and had just drank a whole litre or strongbow from one of those crappy bottles.....

I didn't know any of those songs apart from We are the champions so I listened to the other ones. I have a strange feeling that With or without you is familiar to me, although I had probably heard a song that stole its tune. I voted for With or without you.

You make me feel old cos I was pushign thrity when I was dancing to it. :yikes: Now I'm wondering if I was the old git at the disco :unsure: Nah actualyl I don't think so, and I had a phase fo K 9% cider - no cheap strongbow for me, until it really did me in. There might have bene an R&B or rap song that stole the riff. I cannot think of it now though. :)

Interestinghow the rock vote is split now. That's the worst thing about the comps - not knoing the competition. Two good songs of the same genre can split the vote or leave one voteless. I love soul but avoided it as SW19 kept using it. And the final had 2 songs by Aretha Franklin roflmao
