i think thats a little unfair. If i remember, it was her first round match at the Oz where she could hardly breathe due to heat exhaustion, and pulled off one of the bravest wins i have ever seen. I really dont know how she won that match. Its a testament to her courage and determination that she even reached the final, most players would have retired in that first round

I remember i was out clubbing when that match was on, and i couldnt believe the score when i got in, i thought someone had spiked my drink :wacko: :wacko: Im glad Masha is back on form, i think next years AO should be the best Slam weve had since Wimbledon 2005 :ok:

You are forgetting of course that Serena thrashed her again at Miami... :ok:
Ivanovic thrashed her at the French Open and Venus at Wimbledon, so to say that the Oz Open was just a mere one off is not strictly correct... :shrug:
