Its been a fantastic Wimbledon on the mens side it truly has.
Some great matches and suprise semi finalists too. And I must say Bjorkman winning at the age of 34 is truly the match of Wimbledon. And he is man of the tournament. It must give Tim Henman looking at him real hope for the future.
That's a really interesting stat! I wonder what the record might be for number of 5 set matches in a Slam? It surely must be close, even though the French Open has probably had its fair share of 5-setters!
There have been some phenomenal men's matches all the way through the tournament. All too often I have checked out a so-called 'non-glamour' tie and found it absolutely enthralling viewing.
And yes, congratulations to Jonas Bjorkman! his post-match celebration was so heartwarming to see.. His wife was rather happy too! :)
