SuperBRAT - November 9, 2007 09:03 AM (GMT)
Tell us who you think will end up in the bottom two in the poll, THEN make a post to say who you chose and which act you think will go. Get it right and I might give you a prize. :D

Well this is a popular poll - not!
I was about to do it but I'm not sure who to go for. My certs to get through are Rhyd, Bev and SD. Alisha, Andy and Hope should be the obvious candidates to go but they might do Ok and get away with it. Plus the last two have had crap perfromances and still got through. Alisha seems to eb gettign sympathy now and may do OK. I fancy a shock in the bottom 2. Niki should be OK but I'm concerned about her song, although it could be great. Leon's worries me - hate the song, needs to be done fun and not much chance to shien vocally. I want it to be Andy and Hope, but who will it be? Sod it, on a whim and a wierd feeling I'm going for Leon, and it'll be one of the other 3 crap ones - let's go Hope and 'hope' they go home. :D

I voted for Alisha, and Hope kind of obvious candidates i guess.
Leon's song bothers me too, those kind of songs don't let the voice come through.
Song choices can mean a big difference to how well they come across and just like last week i don't think most of the songs are that good.

These songs are so mediocre. With the slight exception of Chasing Cars, everything is just bog-standard easy listening. It's going to affect everyone i feel with these disastrous song choices
Alisha: Will suit her nicotine-laced voiced, but this song is SO draining and labourious. As we know, the cat next door has more personality than Alisha  roflmao
Andy: I like the song, but he's the dullest of the lot in the competiton IMO. Unless he can evoke some passion and commitment to the sentiment of the song, it'll go tits up in dramatic fashion......
Beverley: The song is horrendous. However personality is on her side and she could pull something out of the wreckage that is this song. I hate this song profusely. I feel sick just thinking about it :sicky:
Hope: Nowhere in the Whinehouse league vocally. they'll do what they always do- turn it into a ropey cabaret act
Leon- Hate the song, dont really like Leon anyway tbh anyway. This song requires pesonality, which old nervy leon wont grasp at all probably
Nikki: This song is so OTT and soppy- yuck  Nikki has a habit of gushing songs eg the Tirain song. If she keeps it subtle it could be brilliant. My guess is however, she'll start belting out a sickbucket full of meodrama...........
Rhydian: Bad song, and hardly a good omen that thiswas the song played at george best's funeral  roflmao Rhydian's an excellent performer however and has such a strong vocal, but this couldbe his first weak performance
Same Difference: Well at least they went for something up-tempo and current. Will be hard to match that piercing falsetto of the original however.....
The botton two will be:
Andy
Same Difference

have picked Hope and Andy....
I actually dont mind the song choices but I think Andy is struggling a bit and Hope are just soooooo bloody awful - please let them be the ones to go!
BIG-TODGER - November 10, 2007 05:32 PM (GMT)
Same difference are crap, i just thought they seemed quite popular that's why i didn't pick them.

Well I didn't see Beverely coming! And it should have been Hope and Andy, possibly Leon IMO. I was right about one thing though, all 3 were dire! :D
