:) Nah..... she was perfectly beaten.... Azarenka was focused trying to play a less error prone game.... and again sharapova.... for the umpteenth time was out of sorts with no clever game plan B....
As for Amelie.... I think she should take the year off and prepare for the aussie open... at this rate she might even hurt her own fragile psyche with such tame losses..... Good win fo r Vera.... especially at home.... :) Trust elena to play well here too..... she likes feeling the home support behind her.... unlike a certain  Mr.safin....

I dunno Choka, I felt a bit sorry for Maria today for some reason - she just isn't the same. It's a bit sad really ... she seems to have lost that fizz of hers and she looked really pale and tired :(
It upset me to watch her like this and believe me, I'm not one of her greatest fans. I like her personality, but can't stand her tennis.

I know, that dreadful performance in the Us Open semis has really dented her confidence :( safina is a good player, but Anna has all the tools to beat her really, and her errors just started to mount near the end.
Serena won but not convincingly at all. I'm sick of these recent scorelines like 7-5 6-4, she should be dishing out the punishment earlier than this. She hasnt been playing great since Miami really, just cant find her winning groove yet

Anna's ranking is a complete joke, so she will probably end up with a more realistic ranking by the end of the year! :ok:

Serena is finding it hard to blast past her opponents like she used to, lots of 7-5 6-2/7-5 6-4 scorelines
Anyway, I'm sure she'll step it up against Nicole tomorrow :D
