Flame - October 7, 2007 02:41 PM (GMT)
i'm watching this on betfair. andy still looks really fired up here. i wouldn't give up on him if i were a fan of his. he must hold out in this deuce game though.

Flame - October 7, 2007 02:42 PM (GMT)
and he does to his credit. a long way to go here for tommy. almost a detriment to break so early in the set.

Flame - October 7, 2007 02:47 PM (GMT)
real chance at 0-30 goes abegging for andy.

Flame - October 7, 2007 02:50 PM (GMT)
40-0 to deuce with some sloppy play at *1-3 for andy.

Flame - October 7, 2007 02:52 PM (GMT)
virtual mp at bp now.

Flame - October 7, 2007 02:53 PM (GMT)
saves it after a long tense rally

Flame - October 7, 2007 02:55 PM (GMT)
and he holds to keep the pressure on robredo. fair play.

Flame - October 7, 2007 02:56 PM (GMT)
i'm more and more convinced andy will have a chance here.

Flame - October 7, 2007 03:02 PM (GMT)
bit of a murray chant went up there. and he holds for 3-4* in the decider.

Flame - October 7, 2007 03:05 PM (GMT)
3 unreturned serves for 40-0. not looking good for the english number 1. :P

Flame - October 7, 2007 03:07 PM (GMT)
*3-5, 30-15, super lob by andy.

Flame - October 7, 2007 03:08 PM (GMT)
30-30 after a UE

Flame - October 7, 2007 03:08 PM (GMT)
great winner for MP!!

Flame - October 7, 2007 03:10 PM (GMT)
andy dumps a poor tommy return into the net and concedes the match.

felixsanchez - October 7, 2007 03:10 PM (GMT)
:( :( :( :(

Flame - October 7, 2007 03:11 PM (GMT)
fear not andy fans, he's had a terrific week and he's well on the road to recovery as a top tennis player.

Pebs - October 7, 2007 06:05 PM (GMT)
looks like Flames kiss of death worked to his advantage here then :P

mightyjeditribble - October 7, 2007 08:43 PM (GMT)
Pity about Andy. He's had a really good week - although losing after winning the first set 6-0 must be frustrating.

yorkshire - October 7, 2007 09:26 PM (GMT)
Keep the anti-Murray trolls happy though ...

Flame - October 7, 2007 09:59 PM (GMT)
okay, i have officially got the murray thing out of my system now.

although my negative feelings for the scot are a matter of record, i will now stop cheering on his opponents and restrict myself to objectivity and fairness.

seriously.

Yippee!!! :ok: Bit disappointed after the 1st set, would have been nice for him to have another title this year. A good week though, well done Andy
