Not to make you peeps spill your drinks onto your feet or throw your piece of cake in lament at other people's faces, but I'm more than sure that Mo is not the first person to have celebrated her birthday twice on CC. CC was created on the 30th (or was it 29th) of April 2006, and surely there were a few birthdays celebrated in the 5 months between CC and Mo's birthday? I won't bother looking for the link, but unless my memory's scandalously failing me, Davish Dav was the first poster to celebrate his birthday twice on CC.

Anyway, again, Happy Birthday, Mo :ok:

Mo aka Mz O'Hara - October 8, 2007 08:24 AM (GMT)
aww thanks for all your birthday wishes. I had a great day.....went up to London and did some shopping in the morning and then went to see matinee performance of Dirty Dancing, which was great fun and not tooooo dirty ;) Then back home to hit the town with my mates, which meant getting home about 5am :yahoo:  We sure know how to have a good time and wll have to improve on it for next years 50th celebrations. Was out socialising Sat and Sunday evening too, so feeling a tiny bit weary this morning to say the least. Hope my boss is in an understanding mood, but he didn't know it was my birthday, so may just have to tell him if my performance is a little under par today. :P

PS Thanks for the fireman smilie

Wow that sounds like a great birthday :D is Dirty Dnacing on in the West End?

It is on at the Aldwych Theatre at Covent Garden. It wasn't my first choice of show to see, but we were a little restricted as not many of them do matinees on a Friday and some of the matinees don't start till after 5pm and we needed to be back home to party in the evening. :P This one started at 3pm so it was perfect timing. Worth a visit, I loved it. :D I did want to go and see Footlose or Chicago, but will save that for another time. :D Oh and Liam, you can come to my 50th next year, and trust me it won't be a dull affair. :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

Dirty Dancing sounds a laugh. :D The film is funny anyhow. Who is in the stage version? Anyone fanous? And does the lead male jump of stage liek Patrick Sawyze? :D Glad you had an excellent time  I', coming to your 50th as well - will there be firemen? :fireman:

Mo aka Mz O'Hara - October 8, 2007 11:53 AM (GMT)
Hi SB the show is pretty much faithful to the movie, with all the fave scenes I recall and those famous lines of course. There are some added scenes later in the show, which include getting to know Baby's family more and in particular her father and delves more into why he would have such and aversion to someone like Johnny. The additional scenes and a few other suprises only improved the overall story. I didn't know any of the cast, but that didn't matter at all, it still made for some great entertainment.

Oh most definately, im not one to miss out on a party ;) They are making a film version of footloose arent they. It sounds good in theory, but i cant see it having the 80s magic that the original had

Mo aka Mz O'Hara - October 8, 2007 03:10 PM (GMT)

They are making a new film version, i think its being filmed now in Canada actually, and its starring the guy who was in high school musical and hairspray in Kevin Bacons role :)
