Title: My Matches now on Youtube
Description: Tennis DVD Clips

laurie - September 20, 2007 06:09 PM (GMT)
Hi, I should inform you guys here that I decided to close www.tennisdvdclips.net last month. I just didn't have the time to keep rotating the clips because of other projects. So I decided at the time to put a lot of the clips on youtube so I won't have to worry about rotation as the clips would be embedded and youtube has unlimited bandwitdth.

http://uk.youtube.com/results?search_query...4&search=Search

Well Trisco, youtube have removed my 3 US Open matches after a complaint from USTA, so I won't be uploading any more slam matches. But I have so many great ATP/WTA matches anyway so its not a problem

The Agassi v Krajicek match is very good. The last set breaks from Richard are quite impressive. He relentlessly goes to the net and versus Agassi, it's not easy.

What I find bizarre is that AGassi never lost on grass against Goran and Krajicek but could be beaten convincingly by those 2 players on hard court.

I've added

2005 WTA final Mauresmo v Pierce

1999 Cincinnati quarterfinal Sampras v Krajicek

1997 Davis cup semifinal Sampras v Rafter

1999 Cincinnati semifinal Sampras v Agassi

http://www.youtube.com/results?search_quer...l&search=Search

1999 Cincinnati final Sampras v Rafter
http://www.youtube.com/results?search_quer...l&search=Search

This is the match where the ball goes right through Rafter's racquet and makes a hole off a Sampras serve! injuring Rafter's shoulder in the process because of the impact.

Wow, Sampras playing with all the flair and excitement of an first wave automaton.
The only indication that Pistol Pete is not some kind of man made engineering project is his tongue hanging relentlessly from his dumb, word bound mouth. No human worth their salt would ever design something so aesthetically grotesque as Pete Sampras. The concept of Sampras as designer hero may be plausible but never realised in actuality.
What Rafter accurately represents is the triumph beauty over the brute force, in terms of integrity, modesty and aesthetics.
There is no ghost in the Sampras machine, only an excuse for something that is always in the process of becoming and never being.

Don't worry Tenez, the man clearly loves Sampras ;)

More to the point, Sampras gave Rafter so many beatings in their rivalry that Mr Todger is a bit frustrated, I would be as well if my favourite player kept getting creamed by someone else.
