:D
I was right with the first prediction, Argentina eren't as good as everybody thought, and those Germans fought like they always do!
And of course, the Argies decided that instead of losing graciously they had to go out literally fighting. Pathetic.
WELL DONE GERMANY! :D

I think Germany could go on to win the tournament, seriously. Argentina were the supposedly best team still in (which was justified because to that point they had played the best football), and Germany were hardly overawed. Italy in the next round is certainly winnable, and then in a final with home support...anything could happen.
About the game, well, yawn. They should bring back the golden goal rule, or even the silver goal rule. Because if neither team is going to have a serious shot at scoring, you may as well just miss out the extra time and go straight to penalties.
Nice fight at the end too.

Just before the world cup
Japan was leading 2-0 until like 10 minutes were left, and Germany scored twice :yikes:
At least we didn't lose
I thought that it taught Japan a lesson...
Apparently it didn't, when you think about the match against Australia
