Okay so put your Wishful and realstic grandslam predictions for 2008!

Okay there isn't much difference in them. THe realistic prediction is following the pattern of the last 11 slams :o ! Djokovic looks the nearest to disturbing this pattern but I still don't think he is ready. FEd was not playing well on Sunday and DJoko managed to choke the big points even then.
MY wishful thinking is actually really possible. Federer birthday will be 08.08.08 really spooky and if he were to make the slam he could make it the golden slam like steffi did. His problem is as always the French but Rafa is looking more burnt out than ever and maybe won't be as healthy this year or pick up his form in time. *wishful thinking I know* But Fed had his chances this year maybe he will take them next year.
It would also make him the first to pass Sampras, surpass Borg 5 Wimbys and get his Wimb-RG run and first Grandslam since Laver making it very good!

I'd like to see the tennis world shocked by Fed being knocked off his GS perch at Aus and then see him come storming back with a great run of inspired tennis winning three in a row and taking the record off Sampras in New York. I kind of want the only Open Era Grandslam to remain Laver's to ensure that later generations don't forget him.
I expect Nadal to keep Fed away from RG, and Fed to keep the rest away from the remainder for one more year before struggling to win more than one a year thereafter.

Federer cares about Olympics - he's said in interviews how disappointed he was with 2004 loss - he really wants to do well in Olympics, partly as it was at the Sydney 2000 Olympics that he first met Mirka!
