wow, i never thought i'd pull for davenport. but partnering hantuchova, i'd love to see them do well :)

Just found the draw on the wta website.

#1 seeds are Daniilidou and Woehr who, despite being a regular pairing, have had limited success.

In the bottom half of the draw #2 seeds Rodionova and Poutchek lost today so I'd say Davenport and Hantuchova are pretty certain of getting to the final (if Davenport's fitness is tip top).

I should really support Alinka and Julie as Jidkova is Russian....but it IS Lindsay she's playing so...

Yeah, poor show from the top seeds. It really is Dani and Davs for the taking now.

Looks like Bali has fortunately missed the worst of the earthquake in Indonesia although there are still Tsunami warnings.

Dav'n'Dani 3-0 down in first set :(

but they win it 6-4 :clap:

But then they rallied back to win four games in a row to lead 4*-3. Then they got broken and it was back to 4-4* but THEN they broke their opponents again and served the set out to win it 6-4.

Now that the slam is over we're back to the stupid business of no advantage being played.

its a lot tighter than i expected. Maybe Dav'n'Dan just dont know their opponents and thats the trouble they are having

6-4 6-4 to Linds and Dani in the end.

14 September- Two w/o today:

Dav and Dani pulled out of their match against Ji and Sun- I guess Dav wanted to do her best in the singles.

Craybas and Grandin go through in the other semi as Errani and Medina Garrigues pulled out of that match. (M-G was the one who pulled out, not sure why though.)
