I always classed myself as an ATP follower but the recent Serena and Justine matches in the Grand Slams have got me following the WTA a little more than I normally would and considering the form of Venus and Justine in the US Open I am REALLY looking forward to tonight's matchup.

I think Venus has shown us this year that she is really loving her tennis and is playing with a smile and looks to be nearly back to her best.

Justine is also playing with a smile and loving every minute of what is turning out to be a great year for her.

Venus holds a 7-1 H2H lead over Justine (I think) but there last match was 2003 (please correct me if I am wrong) and I think Justine has become a much better player since then.

So what do you guys think? Who will win this one? I have to admit I am stuck between the two. If they both play as well as they did in their last round I think Justine will edge it, but Venus may have an edge with the crowd behind her.... So I am going to predict a Justine victory in three tight-ish sets I think.

I really don't know with this one, I'd have to give Justine the slight edge.

A lot depends on Venus, if she plays the best she's capable of she should beat Justine, but will she play her best?

I think Venus' desire to win is stronger than Justine's, particularly after Justine beat Serena in the last round. But does how much more than her opponent a player wants to win make a real difference to the outcome of a match?

Personally I think if it went to three I'd give Venus the slight edge, as I do think she's mentally stronger than Justine.

But this could really go either way.

I voted Venus poorly because I have been a fan forever but something tells me that Henin just might pip her!

I am routing for Venus! She has played well so far and especially against JJ. Final set tie breaker was a very careful and calculated play from Venus. There is no way this will finish in two sets, hence Venus has a better chance.

I've gone with Justine basically because I want her to win
and secondly Venus is making way too many UFE.Anyway lets see.

I remember telling Dl around the FO that Venus hasnt a cat in Hells chance of beating Justine this year, but i think i may have to eat my words. This title has Vs name written all over it :)

This match was going to be guile versus power and between those 2 that is pretty even but then the mind made the difference.

I feel sorry for Venus but she won Wimbledon so it is not that bad. I am glad for Justine though but my real favorite is Kuznetsova! I do not think she'll win though but who knows!?

Congratulations to Justine!!!! What a brilliant performance throughout the tournament.She really deserved to win. This match though by far was the best of the tournament.It was really great.The shotmaking was superb from both.Pity there had to be a loser.
