Kuznetsova giving the unfortunate Szavay a bit of a whooping so far, up 6-1, 2-0. Hope Szavay can make a match of it, although that might just be down to being very irritated by Kuznetsova getting this laughably easy draw which Ana should have had. :moody:

Jon Wertheim (US tennis pundit) actually predicted Szavay to reach the semis before the tournament started and was mercilessly derided. It looks like the young Hungarian is going to fall one short of his target, but she's clearly another one to look out for in the future.

:) kuznetsova is playing a very smart game...being the more experienced of the two..she has taken her chances pretty well. Agnes isn't playing too badly in the second set... but Kuzy is jest the sharper of the two..... a bit nervous on agnes' part.

What a tourny it's been for Szavay though, unbelievable talent this girl has and has fulfilled it this 2 weeks. Look for her in the Slams next year :D
