Ok, I know he's been out for three months, and in some respects he did well to get to the 3rd rounds of the USO. But Andy Murray really does have a lot to work on in his game still, it's mostly mental and attitude wise.
He should be hurting like hell every time he loses a match. But whenever he gets interviewed after a defeat he is so defeatist it's untrue. I always think Murray plays his best tennis when he's in his "hewitt mode" - i.e. totally defiant, full of aggression, anger and energy. Problem at the moment is that he doesn't bring it to the court every match and in so doing looks really flat.
What are other people's thoughts on this? I personally still think he is quite a way from being a top 5 fixture.
