So a bit of competition for the almost Wimby champ Wise, with newcomer Miss SF tied with him in 1st place - she really was smart by deliberately losing the last two tournies co she saved energy! :lmaao: Looking strong in 3rd, it's one of our "'young guns" shooting up the rankings like Szavay, Felix. :clap: Another young gun and huge Stepanek fan ;) Ob is 4th, Wimby champ Fah in her stride in 5th with another young gun SG with his very fancy Etonesque raquet :D An din 7th yet another young gun - that daffodill munching Welsh Dragon from the Valleys - Welshboy! :clap: And in 8th it's me, Wimby 2006 is a distant memory and those hard courts are tough on the joints at my age :D Us oldies need to get our fingers out because the youngsters are threatening the tennis dynasty. :D

Bookie's fave Wise shakes off the challenge of talented newcomer Miss SF with some agressive serve volleying, taking an even bigger lead. :o Felix moves up to second but he doesn't have many more chances to use the trusty 2-0/3-0 system so he better get down to business to maintain his position. :) Our Welsh Dragon WB goes upf 3 to 4th, looking strong from the baseline - can he keep it up or will it be curtains next round like for Kirilenko? SB also rises 3 to 5th, is the Wimby 06 magic returning? Doubt it :lol: And another climber is Jo, up 3 to 6th - will that Safineseque backhand keep firing or will she crash and burn next round?

Surprisingly Wimby champ Fah is struggling for form, down 7th, is she spending too much time in that fast car rather than on the practice courts? :D Bad boy Ob drops 4 places to 8th - maybe he is spedning to much time persuing now single Miss Hingis? :D A move in the right direction for one of our hot favourites Viva, up to 9th, but is it too little to late? A bad few days for SG dropping 5 places, he's got the talent and the shots but it's not quite coming off yet - I'd compare him to a young Gasquet myself :D In joint 11th, our pair of demon volleyers Pebs and Sam have the touch and flair of the great Tim Henman, but like him have struggled against the baseline grinders, but they are still a delight to watch. :D Our seasoned veteran Scolios is feeling the effects of her excellent perfromance the other day but she's a great crowd pleaser and capable of a comeback and Liam has gone from King of Hard to King of Limp roflmao Bad boy Dark has had some eventful matches but can eh catch up despite missing day one? Choka seems to have choked and vanished and Serena, like his idol, is selective of the tournies he plays and may well have decided to save himself for the AO. :D

Who will win? Can Wise be made to look foolish? All will be reveled soon ...... :D

What time does the order of play come out each night?

Yeah you are doing rather well, but you did realyl well without the 2-0 thing. Play normally is at 4pm (11am New York) but it gets later as there are less macthes. I'm sorry you are back at school and can't play, but I do have to stick by the rules now. :) ( All I can suggest is that if the predictions are not up on here but you know what matches will be played next day from the USO website in advance, you can predict from that and PM it to me in advance. All singles matches will be part of this, so you can do all of them, but the doubles I just do a selection so that is trickier. It's up to you but feel free to join in late and do the matches that have not started, or predict the night before form the USo site. if I can get them up the night before I will be this is not normally until very late at night.

No change at the top but the Welshdragon refuses to buckle moving up to 3rd (at the expense of talented newcomer Miss SF) with a little help from the trusty system; how I hate percentage play :D Up one and challenging for a top 3 place it's SB doing her best to battle the back problem and oust those youngsters from the top, but's it's tough with a wooden racquet and a zimmer frame;) More twists and turns in the Ob campaign as the bad boy is on the up again, showing off his dropshot to the lovely Ms Hingis - I hope that is all he's been showing her ;) :D SG moves up again - can the canny Scot's Murrayesque variety take it in the deciding stages or is thsi a stretch too far afte rhsi injury lay off? Wimby champ Fah lurks ominously in 7th, never count her out. She's the master of the 5 set battle. :D Is it too late for Viva, is that Hingisesque touch and guile going to outwit the others or will the modern power game prove too much? :D Can Pebs do the impossible and take out the Tursunovs? :D Will we see a Sam slam? :D All will be revealed, but it's close in places and all to play for. :D

Not much change at the top. Wise keeps his lead, Felix has ditched his system but can he catch Wise with his new game plan? :unsure: Much to SB's annoyance, :angry: ;) WB has out hit her and widens the gap after an excellent all round perfromance yesterday - is he a contender for the title? Ob creeps up another place, not sure this extra coaching from Ms Hingis should be allowed, but she thinks his weapons are huge apparently :D Poor Miss SF who had such a good start is down to 6th - can she find a new gear or is she, like Sharapova, lacking a Plan B? :D Fah still lurking in 7th, can she find the extra gear when it matters like great champions do? And watch out for Sam - that huge serve has pushed him up into 8th place. There's little between Jo, SG, Viva and Pebs at the moment, but poor Liam, the King of Hard, is looking flaccid at Flushing roflmao - credit Viva for that joke :ok: Our seasoned veteran of the circuit Scolios is struggling this year, but vows she will still be back to show those young guns a few tricks next year. :ok: And although Dark missed the start and it's hard for him to catch up now, his bad boy behaviour might just get the prize for most code violations collected in a slam, although Nalby might be suing him for calling him Fat Dave so best try and earn some money form playing Dark :D

Thanks to Wises main rivals, Felix and WB both missing a days predictions through injury, the top of the table has been shaken up a bit, although Wise is till top and romping to victory :bow: He is definatley looking like the Fed of CC prediction league (or should i say the Serena coz he doesnt enter many tournaments :unsure: Our workhorse SB has reaped the rewards of her hectic schedule and jumps into second place :D Despite his injury, Felix manages to hold on to joint 3rd with Slam debutant MissSF. Other than that the table is pretty much the same, other than SG dropping out of the points, and letting the turkeys at the bottom move up a spot :coat:

Did I tell you I was subjected to a stripper at my 30th Birthday? A bloke booked it for me, my housemate, and he knew i liked Damon Albarn and Keanu Reeves back then so asked what they had that looked liek him. The stripper I got looked like an extra for Il Divo, so not my type, this Italian bloke with greased chest and a cheesy medallion adn grin. it was awful, and he di dnto have much int he credentials dept either. It's all pretty much the same as before except that another injury lay off from Felix who seems to have burnt out rather like Nadal, allows our Miss SF, our resident doubles specialist tipped to be partnering Jamie Murray next season (or maybe Bjorkman or Paes, she has lots of choices):D to hang at at 4th. Just a couple of points seperate her and the Welsh Dragon who's in 3rd after suddenly reverting to the trusty system, and Ob has crept up to 5th after deciding to focus on his groundstrokes on court rather than off with Ms Hingis. ;) Felix is only a point behind if he can shake off that injury who knows what the youngster is capable of?

There's an interesting tussle bewteen big serving Sam-pras and Wimby champ Fah, which one will pul out the aces when the pressure is on? And Jo is right behind them, can she get that Safinesque backhand firing again and make the finals? Can Viva regain the great pre-tournie form for a better finish, and will Pebs focus more on her volleys and less on James Blake? The poor bloke looks knackered, no wonder he is out! roflmao
