Well, the tennis is underway in New York - with Murray in action against Bjorkman at the moment. :ok:

Bjorkman leads 3-2 on serve, Andy had a couple of BPs in the last game.
Early signs indicate that Murray will need to serve a lot of 1st serves as Bjorkman has a good return but that his passing shots are definetely going to frustrate the swede.
He's hitting his fh well which is a good sign :ok:

.. well, Bjorkman takes the first set 7-5, on the third (or fourth?) break point.
Some good matchplay by Jonas there, raising his game to snatch the first set.
Bjorkman is certainly a dangerous opponent for Murray. It will be a test of his fitness to see if he can turn this around and take it in 4 sets..

Verdasco annihilated Simon in straight sets, 6-0, 6-4, 6-3.
And Canas is struggling against Lee - he was 4-0 down but has just retrieved one of the breaks and it's 4-1.

Also have an eye on the Lee v Canas match. Lee is a solid, dangerous opponent, whose game actually matches up well to that of Canas. I woudln't be surprised if that became quite a drawn out battle as both are solid baseliners who make few errors. Lee has a fabulous backhand, if memory serves correctly..
