Has anyone noticed that she seems to be taking a leave out of Djoko's book, shee seems to be taking an absolute age to serve, she has thrown in a lot more bounces and is quite slow on each one.
Must be very frustrating for the other player as it is an obvious addition to her game... don't make for great TV either as it sorta stops the flow.

No, I know what you mean actually. I saw her doing it against someone recently and I hadn't noticed her ever doing it before.
And I agree it's annoying to watch, you wanna shout 'JUST F*CKING SERVE' at the TV...
...but I don't because I love her. :wub: And more bouncing the balls means more time looking at her... so I'll butt out of this one.

I have to say, why is everybody scared of saying that actually they are taking a leaf out of the Nadal book? He is the most tedious, and is much worse than djoko for my money...
Ivanovic doesn't take as long as Sharapova for instance anyway...

I don't notice it one bit with Nadal or Sharapova.. I know Nadal does take his time but it ain't very obvious..
Just seems more obvious and frustrating to the other player when your opponent is just inanely bouncing the ball..

Same goes for Mary's little routine at the FO 2005 - even with all Mary's little touches before serving, the match still only lasted about 55 mins.
