Title: Clive Clarke
Sam - August 29, 2007 07:38 AM (GMT)
Last night, in Leicester's second round carling cup tie, on-loan full back Clive Clarke collapsed in the dressing room at half time. amid frenzied efforts by the leicester medical staff, he was taken by ambulance to the cardiac unit in Queen Mary's Hospital in Nottingham, where his condition is said to be stable. Clive has sat up and spoken to doctors but is said to be exhausted. Our prayers are with him.
The match itself was immediately called off, with Forest manager telling all of the phones on a mike exactly what had gone on, with Martin Allen the Leicester manager close to tears at his side. Forest had helf a surprise 1-0 lead at half-time, but understandably the match was abandoned there and then.
Very sad :( :( :(

It turns out Clarke had two heart failures in the dressing room and each time had to be rescuscitated using defibrilators :(
I wish him all the best, this brings back some pretty raw memories for myself :(

Yep this was very sad :( Was listening to it live on the radio and sounded serious and when it appeared that he had 2 heart failures the realisation of how bad it was came to light.
Glad hes recovering in hospital now!

I tell you what, nobody had better tell him the latest news with his heart trouble - that Martin Allen has been pushed out of the club after just 4 games in charge :o
What is Mandaric doing? I'm hearing Glenn Roeder might be on the way, WHY?

Well obviously I had seen the articles in the newspapers like you had, but it is totally bizarre!
It seems that Mandaric has decided he wants us promoted this season all of a sudden, while Allen (wisely) said it might take two or three years.
Let's see...
