Just got 2 tickets for it :D Chance to see Henman, Murray brothers, James Blake, Goran and Pat Cash in action :bow: Should be a good fun tournament to watch! I am mainly going because its one of Tim's last events but it will be good fun to see all the other guys too, some great players there.

I have bought 2 tickets because I am hoping to get someone to go with before the 15th of September, would be useless if I bought just 1 and then i was going with someone who was siting the opposite side of the arena! So if I cant get anyone to go with me I might ask if anyone from this board wants to come with me, if anyones interested then i would certainly be happy for you to join me :)

I'm going as well! A chance to say goodbye to Tim ... and for Mrs. Tribble to see Goran in person. :D

Tickets cost £20 each if you want to sit in the top tier, I chose to sit there, I think the tickets in the lower tier are about £40. It must be quite high up in the top tier because it says... "if you scared of heights then it is advised not so sit in the top tier. :D

Thankfully I am not really scared of heights so I think I will be alright :ok:

Well that was a lot of fun last night :) I was sad that Tim had to pull out but at the same time I was happy for him with the new addition to the family :D

I thought the turbo tennis was a lot of fun :D Im sure I heard COME ON GORAN!! shouts from opposite where I was sitting, and it seemed it was the same person a lot of the time :D I knew that it had to be a certain someone off here ;)

I was supposed to be sitting in block H on the top tier but there was apperantly a printing error on those tickets so me and my uncle had to queue with others to get complementary tickets lower down in the lower block instead :D That was better though for us! Because that meant that we were closer to the players then and not as high up! We were on row K on the 1st tier so it was awesome!

Me and my uncle were backing Goran aswell so you probably heard us shouting COME ON GORAN!! a few times lmao!

The tube was a nightmare after the tournament though! Really hot on the trains and absolutely packed, people were struggling to squeeze in the doors :wacko:

Yep, I really enjoyed it too - and that may have been me - I did do a few 'come on Goran's :unsure: I wasnt the woman who kept shouting that she loved him though... if it wasnt for the fact I knew SB wasnt there, I would have assumed it was her!

Our seats were quite good - we were just behind the players seats on the right of the umpire about six rows up - so quite nice and close - and nicely positioned to see Goran and James... and those other boys! ;)

Met up with Mo for a quick hello after which was nice too :)

Might have been me shouting for Goran as well ... Was good fun, wasn't it? And we got to see Goran play three times, which was excellent. :D

Yeah, we also got moved down from the top (like everyone I think), which was good. Although we ended up sitting to a pair of really annoying boys, who (upon being told that they were allowed to be as loud as they want at the beginning of the tournament) began randomly shouting "come on Goran", "come on Greg", "yeah", "boo" constantly in indiscriminate order. Thankfully there were enough vacant seats, so we moved for the next match ...

Also, I thought the rules were a bit stupid. A lot of it was down to who served first, and in the end I don't know why they couldn't just have played a set for each match. (Without deuce, if they want, as they do on the doubles tour, and with shorter breaks or something.) And the long break in the middle just seemed ridiculous ... so much for "turbo" ...

Anyway, it was definitely good fun, and we enjoyed it immensely. Mrs Tribble could have even had her picture taken with Goran before the match (he was about one meter away from us, and had his picture taken with lots of other people), but she chickened out ...

And we made a nice weekend out in London of it as well, got a nice hotel which upgraded us to a room with a view over the Thames, so it was all good. :ok:

Glad you guys that went had a good time. :D Sadly I could not go due to George having smashed his car into a barrier the day before. We needed a car to get there as due to my joint condition I've been strugggling to walk thsi week and a 2 hour tube journey was a stretch to far so we had it all mapped out involving the car, the o2 had even offered to wheel be about if need! How nice of them, and alos offered to give me a seat right by the court too. Within grabbgin distance fo Goran :D Stupid bloody George! roflmao Trust me if there was Goran photo opp I'd have been in there - and so would Geroge probabaly, Goran is his favourite player plus of course Tim, Fed and Mac. Goran got him into the game cos he thinks Goran is mad and a laugh! roflmao

Anyway I did get to see it on C4 - quite good coverage, all the smis and finals and highlights of the round oen matches, and they never threw adds in where not needed. Have to say ti cam eaccross that it was not that full, the presntation was a little amateurish but it was a different anf fun way fo doing things. I thought though that for those who did go, why take over 5 hours when it is turbo tennis? You must have got fed up hanging around, I think they should have been able to cover all of that in at least an 1.5 hours less, and I think I'd have found 5 hours of sittign around a bit tiring.

And the rules did have soem glitches and it did favour the person who served first and obviously the big servers. Not that i minded that as Goran got to the final :D but they do need to do something to ensure that the person who serves first is not the hot fave. And it wasn't entertaining once someone was 2 games up with 4 mins to go either. And the standard was tno high. But what I do like abotu it is that becauase it is shorter format you can throw reitred stars like Goran, Pat, Greg and hopefulyl Tim next time into the mix for variety and their fans get to see them live. :clap: :clap: :clap: I like the fact folk can shout and make a noise. Maybe they will improve it, I think they should try other venues as that one never sold out and is just so huge, too huge really, adn nto make ti such a logn haul. I was amused by the out of time dancing ra-ra girls that followed Andy Murray on court though, a she was and highly amused when the commentator called Jamie Murray Jamie Blake! roflmao

Glad you all had fun. Shame I did not go as you coudl have all met me, I'd have shouted out form my seat that I was SB and you'd have all hid in shame - but a spared you that :lmaao:

Hey SB :) shame that you couldnt go in the end! I had a great day out and me and my uncle had a nice curry in this thai restaurant in the O2 arena, it is huge in there! Not only has it got the arena itself but also loadsss of restaurants and bars and even a cinema!

Had to wake up really early though! the bus from leicester was 6am because we couldnt get any of the later ones because they were fully booked to london! hardly surprising though because it was a saturday after all.

well to be honest with you if they had got all the matches done in queick succession it would have been too much to ask from the players and also the fans. It was nice to have a 40 minute break and stretch your legs and get a bite to eat and get something to drink and go toilet.

Was some really cool break dancing in the mid session interval aswell! Kept everyone entertained I think :)
