I am so upset about his retirement coming up. :(
He will be sorely missed, and I must say that I am upset and disappointed he isn't making his retirement after the Australian Open. I am going next year, and thought it would be more appropraite for him to end his career here in Australia. It has been his best Slam, and half of his Grand Slam titles have been at the Australian Open.

What, instead of finishing in the country where he was born at the END of a year? I don't think so! roflmao
Well I do Sam! Plus, he didn't have a final goodbye in Australia, he bowed out being thrashed by Federer in the quaters in 2005. He didn't get to say a prper farewell, and I think he could have one more good Australian Open left in him.
Yes it is sad he is retiring, and all good things must end. I think it is a smart choice, but I can see why the Aussies would be a tad pissed about this as they have not had the chance to say goodbye and he di dwin most fo his titles at the AO (4 I think) - di dhe not once say h felt Australian after winning one? Still don't be too hard on him as he woudl tno have realsied how badly things were going to go this year after reachign the USO final last autumn.
