Hehe I have calmed down now but when the crowd booed her for the handshake. henin was lucky to get a handshake at all. Even Oracene wasnt happy and she is 100% calm usually.

Yeah Serena lost, but you can't say she would have won had that incident not occured. Nobody knows what would have happened.

I thought the incident was unsavoury, but was glad Justine won as Serena was bitch slapping every other player all the time on the tour and it was getting very boring.

She had control at 4-2 30-0 up! EVEN after the despicable incident she nearly took control again but the crowd were just a bunch of loosers.

Okay no one can say for certain can say she would have won but with her mental grip and that lead the odds were HEAVILY in her favour.

AND maybe so she was bitchslapping the whole tour but I woudl have preffered it if Henin had outplayed her.

Odds were in Serena's favour for sure but no-one wins a set 4-2 30-0 up....you have to finish the job, and a comeback on clay given Henin's skills on that surface can not be discounted.

I agree. As I said odds stacked in her favour. But "could have", "should have" and "would have" are phrases that don't belong in competitive sports (The Williams sisters would be the first to agree with that). Justine DID win, Serena didn't. Serena has 8 GS Titles and Henin has 6. Should they meet in the quarters in the US Open I actually think Serena will beat her on that surface.

Boris got 6 and that is about right to be honest. Boris will kick himself for getting to 7 Wimbledon Finals and only winning 3, but in the other 4 he just met people that played better than him on the day. He was close in 1990 in the fifth set against Edberg, but lost his head and Edberg put in a killer performance with his volleying. Boris got 6, and deserved 6 I think.

Wilander was better on other surfaces than Boris. I always thought his 7 were deserved.

Justine probably deserved to win the match, one of the best of her career but there's no denying some dodgy sportmanship there. I dont understand why she just couldnt have said ' yep i had my hand up'. It wouldnt have given her a disadvantage in the match would it :shrug:
