France vs. Brazil should be very interesting - if you have pace on the break against Brazil you have a real chance IMO, and France certainly have that!

Well you will have to wait until at least 2010 for that - The winner of England vs. Portugal plays the winner of France vs. Brazil roflmao

Patriotism aside i was hoping for an Argie vs Spain final. Now i don't really mind - any england final would be good (though i dont reckon they will progress much further - might sneak past france.) If i was a betting man i'd put a few quid on France beating fatty&co. Henry will rip through that dodgy defence - most other teams wouldnt have lucio for one but he is an adequate player. The brazilians wont have the discipline to play a high line and will at least be caught out a few times. This will also be the first time that Brazil play a team with a proper defence (maybe croatia were). I'd fancy les bleus to reach the semis. PLEASE - i dont want this brazil team to win! :pray:

I said in the group stages that France were a team that could certainly take Brazil. But it's a funny triangle, because I think England could take France but couldn't beat Brazil!
The Argies have played well at this world cup, but I do think they've been over-hyped as a result of beating Serbia 6-0, in a match I think Serbia had lost in the head before they even started. The Argies were lucky to beat the Ivory Coast in the first match, drew with Holland in a nothing match, and struggled to beat Mexico (who to be fair played out of their skin).
England have a huge chance - they haven't performed once in this tournament yet, and that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Spain peaked too soon, maybe England will peak when they need to!
