oooooo I didnt realise they were making another. I thought Saw 3 was a bit too confuddled to make another but I guess they like the formula. Saw something else advertised the other day from the director of Saw - cant think what now, but might be interesting.

I will watch the clip when the kids arent likely to walk in Liam :)

im glad they are making another, i think its a great series of film, but like you say, after the last one i didnt think it would be possible to make another, but it looks great from this clip anyway :) (which is an actual clip, rather than a trailer btw)

26th October its scheduled for Pebs, just a few days after my 30th, i might have to get tickets for the premiere!!!! my mate bobbles has just got Amy Winehouse tickets for his 30th in november, but im not holding out much hope of her turning up :(

Nick Havoc - August 21, 2007 04:22 PM (GMT)
I haven't seen Saw and likely never will see Saw, as Saw is not the sort of movie I seen to see.

trisco - August 21, 2007 04:27 PM (GMT)
I've never seen any of them either... not much of a movie person though..
apart from Back To The Future Part 2... :P

well imnot likely to see Amy Winehouse. The only reason she might turn up is that alcoholics are often drawn to Blackpool

thanks Liam - I had best make a hot date with some popcorn then!

big birthday bash to get scared witless and then off drinking sounds a very nice way to spend the night :)

Amy Winehouse would be good too but she might be a touch unlikely at the moment

you didnt strike me as a BTTF fan Trisc! I love the Saw movies... nothing like getting the heart rate right up!

They're releasing a 4th Saw?

I shall probably watch it (i.e. download it once it's out on DVD), but not too hopeful. The first two were really clever and I enjoyed them both; the third however, looked like it had been written by a terminally ill rodent.

I was really surprised too! I didnt go much on Saw 3 - too many sub plots and what have you - but the ending seemed pretty much the end of the line....

Not going to miss it though, the clip above had me watching me through my fingers!

SerenaW19 - August 26, 2007 08:19 PM (GMT)
There's four of them!

I didn't even realise there was a third!

God help us

Your birthday must be the same time as mine. Mine's on the 20th of October, but I don't remember our birthdays being so near last year.....

LIAM!!!! LIAM!!!! Are you out there???

I finally watched Saw 4 tonight - totally gruesome as expected and I watched a fair bit through my fingers but I am now totally confused! If you did watch it and understood the end - could you please explain it to me - I found the timing of it all rather odd and need it talked through!

liam_valid - December 29, 2007 10:30 AM (GMT)
i never saw it in the end pebs

Pebs - December 29, 2007 10:40 AM (GMT)

Ah, in that case I wont tell you what happens... I have trawled through some comments online to see what others make of it and have a better understanding and will probably watch it again to see what I missed... but I still think the end is a bit clumsy... lots of stuff in it to indicate Saw V coming out next year though!

Watch it soon and come back to me!

I've never even seen Saw 1! I do look out for it but they never show it on the TV. Pebs recommended the first one so I fancy it, not sure about the others mind.

I dont think this is the type of film that would ever make it onto tv SB - slightly too gory... that said, I have caught gory films on tv before so maybe it will.

I seem to recall that you prefer more suspense than outright nasty - but I did like the idea of Saw and thought it was cleverly done - so I do recommend it :)
