I think it starts on monday or some point next week and the main event is the weekend of the 24th. Though I should just check....ok the website says it's 17th-27th of August. The main weekend being 24-27 :)

Doesn't seem to be as good as a few years ago, some of the bars are pretty rough these days on canal street..

It's definitely worth doing the whole weekend - lots to do in the day and then clubbing all night!

Last year I did Cruz 101 on the Friday, Uni Challenge on the Saturday, Poptastic on the Sunday & Essential on the Monday - I needed a holiday when I got back!

Yeah the doormen there are arseholes - twice I've gone there with a mate of mine and they wouldn't let him in because he looked too drunk!?

Course that doesn't stop them letting in the dealers that they have an arrangement with!

Uni Challenge is great - dangerous later on though when you're a bit tipsy & wandering through the identical looking corridors of the student union with no idea of where you are!

I lost my BF in their once and it took ages to find him again - course when I did the cheating scum was snogging someone else but that's another story!
