Nice one dl!!

I love Bjork's videos too.. they are always really unusual as well.

Of her albums, I will always have a soft spot for Debut, but I think that I like Vespertine more. It's kind of late night music with lots of nice bleepy electronic noises in it.

Oh, and re: Bjork, this is going back a bit further, but here are a couple of songs of hers from before she went solo:

Birthday - Sugarcubes

I remember seeing this on the chart show and really didn't know what to make of the song. It sounded like nothing that I had ever heard before!! :yikes: Loved it though :ok:

Hit - Sugarcubes

Oh, btw I was out with my friend who is a friend of Regina just at the weekend. She was telling me that Regina never used to be quite as glamorous as she is now. Used to be thick specs, cardigans and wool skirts.. kind of a librarian look, if you like.

Another great performance of 'It's Oh So Quiet' by Bjork:

I really like her in her fluorescent pink dress with matching trainers phase.. and also her fluorescent yellow dress and matching trainers too!!

I used to love Bjork, but kind of got tired by the sheer weirdness of it all, she is wonderfully strange-childlike.

Oooo.

Which one BT, have any tips for me for the CC Magazine..
What sort of work do you do in the paper?

BIG-TODGER - August 29, 2007 10:56 PM (GMT)
i am a journalist (one who's a tad inebriated at the mo) but better not say which one i work for.

I don't think you need any tips, CC is buzzing at the mo, the changes you've made have been great, the results are self evident.

Any time you wanna use me to write something give me a shout!

I'd be a fool to not jump on the offer of an inebriated journalist. :D

Cheers BT. You may find me PM'ing you soon. :ok:

Love the songs RF, great to see the change in musical tempo through each album, from Debut up until Volta. They're so wonderfully varied and unique :D

You gotta love the Bjorkster

"it's oh so quiet" really isn't very representative of her work. It's not a particular favourite of mine. The good thing about Bjork is that she's so varied that even if you don't like many of her songs you can usually find one that you do.

Well just to keep it civil, i'm not a fan :)
