Have only just heard it for the first time - I cannot believe that it was no.1 for so long.

Ironically, since it's been knocked off top spot the rain has stopped and summer has arrived roflmao

it was a good pop song for the summer.

The lyrics were so mindless though  I quite liked the song until I actually listened the lyrics!

you are joking - "good song for the summer"? So you're saying that songs for the summer should have hardly any decent music or singing?

Tell you, says a lot about the lack of stuff coming out at the moment!

Oh, and that sex sells

vivahate - August 8, 2007 02:05 PM (GMT)
*amended*

it was a good pop song. straight up. not earth shattering. unoffensive fun. good to move to. and yes the lyrics were garbage. who cares

My theory - it staye dnumber 1 for 2 reasons

a. those who buy music today have no taste
b. no one buys music any more do they so the competition was non existent! roflmao

I think it's both, and the fact that very little decent, or even fun, music has come out so far this summer. Last year at least we could laugh at "WHATS THAT COMING OVER THE HILL IS IS A MONSTER?" roflmao
