I have this feeling this might go the same way as the Federer vs. Safin match at Wimby - everyone expecting it to be great, and it then not meeting expectations. :(
although, safin has said previously that he'd really like a chance to play Rafa, so you never know......

I would reaaaaaaaly like to watch this match. And not just for the obvious :P
I reckon Safin would be up for this, we know hes been having the right kind of mental thoughts recently (new trainer etc) - or at least, he started out with the right thoughts! and I just think this would be a good match up.
And Nadals always up for it!

Safin definitely has the weight of shot to trouble Safin. I just feel though that nadal can just frustrate Safin into errors with his movement. When the points are extended, Safin's forehand can break down and cause him some problems.
Safin hasnt been playing that badly of late so he could take a set, but i still think its Nadal's match.

Gonna be a tight one I think.Safin has the power to really hurt Nadal but Nadal has the irratating ability to get the ball back for one extra shot which could worry Safin!

I hate to say this, but i agree......I hope i'm going to have to eat my words, but I just can';t see Safin having the confidence to beat Nadal......
