If anybody wants to watch a really funny but cringeworthingly dark british comedy... have a nosey at this. A lot of you have probs seen this but for anyone away from these shores have a look.
This is Part 1, the others will probably appear in the same window after you have watched the first.

I saw some of those. They were just too cringeworthy for me though and quite distasteful in parts. The character is a real old sl*g! roflmao
The programme is bloody brilliant, the main role played by Julia Davis is superb-her character is so sinister.
I think it's episode5 or 6 in the first series where she buries her husband (who isn't actually dead at that point) and she comes in the church on horse back and does that tasteless dance, and that incredible speech in 'memory' of her husband, telling everyone how useless he was in bed etc. Then her still very much alive husband passes the small cemetery and notices his own head stone -darkly hilarious!
*Gulps*
Think I'll wait until my husband has completely recovered from his stroke. This sounds a bit too near the bone (or the ashes...) :D
Love this comedy. It can be near the mark and perhaps goes a bit far from time to time, but I have series 1 and 2 on dvd and if I need to a smile it will be in the line up. If you like Julia Davies' stuff her boyfriend Julian Barrett is a very class act and can be seen in the Mighty Boosh and Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, not to mention Nathan Barley.
