I've been watching with interest the progress of 6 foot 9 John Isner as he bulldozes his way through the draw in Washington.

In 20 or 30 years time, will Isner be typical of the players on the ATP tour? Will you need to be 6 foot 4 plus to make it in tennis?

Does anybody know if the height of tennis nets have changed since tennis first came about? People are getting taller all the time, maybe the tennis net should be changed to reflect the change in heights of players.
