Title: Hello Again Folks

Gav - July 31, 2007 08:44 PM (GMT)
Hi Everyone.....

Some of you may have noticed I dissapeared for a while. I was rushed into hospital 5 weeks ago (the day before Wimbledon started) with severe abdominal pains and have spent the last 5 weeks there. It was touch and go for a few times to be honest and morphine became my new best friend. They have fixed me up as well as they can and taken bits out of me here and there and now I have to recover at home for the next few weeks.

I have missed you all but am sure I will find some time now to post on here while at home!

Basically I MISSED ALL OF WIMBLEDON!!! I am gutted, but am grateful to be alive, I will be posting on here quite a lot I hope as I recover at home!

Gav

Sounded bad mate.I remember well now my trip to hospital in 99.I had been diagnosed with crohn's disease.A nasy little vermin that attacks your bowel and makes you bleed, hence on my arrival I had a blood count of 5 after my doctor messed me around for three months telling me I was fine.

Hope your well, and here's to a speedy recovery.Glad to see you back,I've missed Boris and his classic expression. :D
