:) like a politician will say..... I didn't fail or come last....I merely didn't supercede all my expectations....... roflmao

SB obviously taking her time to work on her tactics of snatching victory away from GS2!

GS2 - July 27, 2007 11:40 AM (GMT)
You know Mr I if you decide to do this in a busier week it might add a bit more unpredictability if the person that goes out is the player with the lowest point total on each day rather than overall.

Would certainly make things lively!

Come on SB...I take it you've not thrown in the towel?

GS2 44 ** CHAMPION **
SB 34 ** RUNNER-UP **

An unassailable lead for GS2 who gets 44 points, to SB's 34 points...not even a correct guess at the Blake v Querrey match can help SB overhaul GS2's score...

Thanks Mr I & SB - I haven't entered a predictions contest for ages so this was a surprise.

Hopefully more people will join in next time.

Mr I perhaps it could be run along side the usual contests and instead of the lowest overall points player going each day it would be the one with the lowest points on that day. That way it would be easy to run alongside the regular competition & would probably still end up with an different result as the eventual winner of the main competiton might get knocked out early of this one with one bad result.

I am stupid, I though tthat is what we were doing until it came to almost the end! roflmao

I agree GS, there are many variations but I like the idea of elimination on daily scores better - winners will be more varied. Also on this one i think by the final the likelihood of me catching you up was almost impossible. Unless you made silly predictions that is. Hopefully people won't play too cagey and pick the same as others. :)

I suppose once things pick up we cna run regaular predictions again. Haven't seen Liam for a whiel so no idea what is happening there. I coudl try doing some comps but there seems to eb few folk abotu at the moment. :(
