Pebs and I discussed setting up a General Knowledge trivia quiz for CCers, so here it is. It's not too difficult and the questions change on a daily basis.

I find these questiosn heavily Amercianised, there's always baseball or American football in there, and knoweldge of Amercians that just are not household names here. There si also a large empahasis on dags for some reason and the Bible, oh an Hollywood movies. :rolleyes:
I wanted to ask - can we get other quizzes going? Petalp and me thought a music quiz woudl be a good idea but I don't kwno how to set it up. Any help woudl be appreciated :D

totally agree SB - I guess its run by an American outfit hence the questions - but I have to guess lots of them!
if you did a music quiz through the same people, it would probably be heavily leaned towards American groups that we dont know - maybe you or Petalp could find an online one that we could use elsewhere? I dont really know how they work but if you find one, we can set up the link easy enough I am sure.
I like the idea of a music one - though would expect to be bottom each time against your huge music knowledge!

Well we could set this one up and try it. I did do other on line music quizzes but not sure if they can eb doen as a comp on a board. It might be possible, Soyouthink.com has a good music quiz, covers all stuff and is not USA biased. Music migh tbe better, after all a lot fo the most world famous artists are British :shrug:
