The new rankings are out.
Not many major changes, alot of players dropping or climbing one or two places.
Venus up to 17th now with Bartoli knocking on the door of the top 10 at 11! :clap:

Expect her to be back in the top 10 very soon.
Looks like Venus and Serena will most likely be in the YEC also at the end of the year. Should be interesting!

Expect she still is high in the rankings as her US Open points are buoying up her ranking. Expect she will get thrashed early on this year and will tumble down the rankings again! :pray:

Well in the last 12 months she won the US Open, Tier 1's in San Diego & Zurich. Plus she won Linz, reached the final of the AO & the semis of RG & the WTA Champs which is a pretty good haul really.
She has a ton of points to defend for the rest of this year though and I can't see her staying number 2.
She's number 6 in the race I think?
