Title: Just give the title to Venus NOW

Queen Justine - July 6, 2007 03:26 PM (GMT)
No one can beat her when she's playing like this. :yikes: :yikes:

It's bloody frightening! How the hell does she go from playing like crap and making a million UE's to playing like this?

I s'pose it's like Justine at the French - it's her tournament and this is Venus's tournament. Trouble is, Justine doesn't play crap all year round - she's consistant. Venus plays crap until she gets to Centre Court.

If Justine gets to the final tomorrow, I'm frightened for her - she's only little roflmao

Also how can two sisters be so different? Venus is so graceful, adorable and respectful .... the other one, well ...

JUST GIVE VENUS THE TITLE!!!

:lmaao:

roflmao roflmao

I seem very weak at the moment for some reason or another ... must be my age :P

I'm frightened for my 5'5" pocket rocket :yikes:

Plus the screaming :yikes: That's enough to frighten anyone :D

I'm very worried for Ana :(

she's just saved 3 match points, but the writing has got to be on the wall

I know - Ana has done very well though   bless

yep and she's only a nipper really

and doesn't screech her way to victory :)

BIG-TODGER - July 6, 2007 04:07 PM (GMT)
I've seen Venus play quite a few matches in my time and have never seen her play so consistently brilliantly. The last three matches she has been completely awesome.

But what i can't understand is that when asked about how come she's suddenly playing so well, she simply responds by saying she's been playing like this in other tournaments throughout the year (or words to that effect) she quite obviously hasn't and needs some sort of reality check about her own performance.
She seems able to play superbly or crap despite a kind of mental breakdown regarding judgement of her own performances.
So she really can't asses her own performances or she's lying.

She grunts like Nadal though. Not sure how she could be called a nipper though, she's one of the most powerful womens players ever.

I didn't read that in her interviews for the Sharapova or Kuzzy matches. What she said was to the effect that she's been working really hard and her game has been steadily improving all year and now it's all coming together.

I don't see what she's in denial about really. She said she would start playing better despite everyone doubting her. Now she starts playing very well and still there's a problem

She's a rhythym player, the fast courts suit her game, it's no shock she's playing her best tennis of the year at Wimbleon.

In fact she's on like an 11 match non-clay winning streak.

You should know the WS by now .... they talk a load of :bs:

When I heard what she said I couldn't stop roflmao roflmao - I thought to myself "what planet is she on"?

Surely she must know that people who watch tennis all year round must know she's lying

fair point, but when Serena was honest about her performance, she got slagged off for it

I did think before I type..I said I hadn't read it.

And to be honest Im not gonna to say anything about it until I know what she said.

The other interviews I read were much more balanced in any case.

Your problem you don't think...ever.
